Netanyahu Denies Israeli Effort To Influence US Iran Policy

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected accusations that Israel is trying to persuade President Donald Trump to continue military action against Iran or undermine diplomatic efforts between Washington and Tehran.

According to the report, Netanyahu was responding to comments by Vice President JD Vance, who recently suggested that some figures within the Israeli government were attempting to influence American public opinion to prolong the conflict.

Netanyahu emphasized that President Trump leads decisions on US policy toward Iran, while describing Israel as America's junior partner and close ally.

The report said Netanyahu also expressed doubts about Iran's willingness to negotiate in good faith, arguing that Tehran has repeatedly delayed and misled during past negotiations. He nevertheless said sustained diplomatic and economic pressure should be given an opportunity to work.
