Stellantis reported a €4 billion ($4.5 billion) industrial cash outflow in the third quarter as the automaker continued its multibillion-dollar effort to restore profitability.
Shares rose 3.6% after the announcement but remained down 62% since the start of the year. Stellantis reaffirmed its target of achieving positive industrial free cash flow by 2027 under its FaSTLAne 2030 strategy.
CEO Antonio Filosa’s five-year plan includes €36 billion in investment across the company’s automotive brands, with 60% allocated to North America. The company also plans new vehicles, model updates and technology investments.
Meanwhile, Chinese manufacturers such as BYD and Geely are intensifying competition. Filosa has urged European regulators to support domestic vehicle production.
