Suspect Pleads Not Guilty After White House Shooting Incident

Cole Allen pleaded not guilty in a Washington federal court to charges linked to an alleged assassination attempt against U.S. President Donald Trump.

According to prosecutors, the 31-year-old allegedly opened fire with a shotgun at a Secret Service agent and forced his way through a White House security checkpoint last month.

The report said the alleged attack targeted Trump and senior administration officials attending the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

Allen also pleaded not guilty to assaulting a federal officer and multiple firearms-related charges.
