President Donald Trump on Thursday endorsed Florida State Senator Joe Gruters to become the next Chairman of the Republican National Committee, following Michael Whatley’s Senate bid in North Carolina.

Gruters, a longtime Trump ally, previously served as Chairman of the Florida GOP and currently acts as RNC Treasurer. Trump credited him with helping deliver “massive and historic victories,” including Trump’s wins in 2016, 2020, and 2024.

Trump also threw his support behind Jennifer Saul-Rich, the National Committeewoman from New York, to succeed Gruters as RNC Treasurer. He praised her fundraising efforts and commitment to building a powerful GOP war chest.

Both candidates, Trump said, are "100% America First" and would ensure continued success for the Republican Party.

The endorsements signal Trump's continued influence over party leadership and strategy heading into the 2026 midterms.
