The United States launched strikes on Iranian military targets after Iran attacked three US Navy destroyers in the Strait of Hormuz, according to a statement from US Central Command. The report said Iran used missiles, drones and small boats in the assault, though no American vessels were hit.

US forces responded by targeting Iranian missile launch facilities, drone infrastructure and intelligence sites believed to be linked to the attack. The escalation has raised fears that a fragile ceasefire between Washington and Tehran could collapse as the conflict enters its third month.

President Donald Trump warned Iran to quickly accept a proposed deal to end the conflict. Trump said the US would respond with even greater force if Tehran refused.

According to the report, Iran has not agreed to key US demands tied to its nuclear program. Oil prices climbed sharply following the confrontation, while regional tensions also spread to the United Arab Emirates and Lebanon.
