Turning Point USA is resuming its college tour in Utah, the first since founder Charlie Kirk was assassinated during a campus event earlier this month. Kirk, a close ally of President Donald Trump, was killed on September 10 while speaking at Utah Valley University.
His death has energized conservatives, who now view him as a martyr of the movement.
Tuesday’s event at Utah State University will feature Sen. Mike Lee, Rep. Andy Biggs, Gov. Spencer Cox, and former Rep. Jason Chaffetz, alongside conservative commentators.

The organization, now led by Kirk’s widow Erika, has pledged to continue his mission of mobilizing young voters toward conservatism.
Erika Kirk promised that her husband’s voice and podcast will continue, supported by archives of unused material.

Conservative leaders, including Glenn Youngkin and Megyn Kelly, have urged supporters to carry Kirk’s legacy forward. Yet some worry the MAGA movement risks fracturing without its unifying figure.
