Cleanup crews began dismantling the large-scale production infrastructure used for UFC Fight Night at the White House shortly after attendees left the South Lawn and Ellipse early Monday, according to CNN.
A sworn declaration from White House management officials confirmed it would be dismantled immediately after the event.
According to CNN, crews started by removing security barriers, fencing, screening equipment, merchandise trailers, broadcast infrastructure, and food service facilities. Additional work throughout the week will include dismantling camera towers, stages, bleachers, tents, power systems, and interior fencing.
The report said operations are scheduled to conclude by June 23, when staff parking areas will reopen and restoration work on the White House grounds, including turf repairs, will begin.
