Delaware voters head to the polls Tuesday for the final primary contests of the 2026 midterm election cycle, with Senate, House and local races on the ballot.

Democratic Sen. Chris Coons is expected to easily win his party’s nomination. He faces three challengers, including former executive Eric Hansen, who will appear as “E. No-Trump Hansen.”

According to CBS News, Coons has raised more than $6.8 million for his reelection campaign, compared with $150,000 for his closest challenger. Two Republicans are competing for the chance to face him in November.

Delaware has not elected a Republican to the Senate since 1966, making Coons the heavy favorite in the general election.

In the House race, Democratic Rep. Sarah McBride is running unopposed in her primary. She is seeking reelection after becoming the first transgender member of Congress.

Three Republicans are competing to challenge her, including former Democratic primary rival Earl Cooper and 2024 Republican nominee John Whalen III.
