The U.S.-Iran conflict has shifted into a naval standoff centred on the Strait of Hormuz, with both sides seizing commercial vessels despite an ongoing ceasefire, according to a report by CNBC.

The report said U.S. forces intercepted multiple Iran-linked tankers in the Indian Ocean, while Iran claimed it seized ships attempting to transit the strait without approval. Both countries are using maritime pressure to gain leverage in negotiations.
