Hennepin County prosecutors have received evidence from federal authorities related to three fatal Operation Metro Surge shootings that occurred six months ago.
According to the report, the materials were transferred on Monday after Minnesota officials sued the federal government, arguing that withholding the evidence had delayed state-level investigations.
The report said prosecutors received extensive evidence, including the Honda Pilot driven by Renee Good when she was fatally shot.
Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty described the newly obtained materials as "voluminous" and said investigators have begun reviewing the records.
According to the report, no charging decisions have been made while the evidence is being examined.
The report added that the families of Renee Good and Alex Pretti have continued to call for transparency and a thorough review of the fatal shootings.
