Sen. Tommy Tuberville revealed new details about the final hours of the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, saying Graham called his scheduler on Saturday evening to report chest pains and asked her to contact emergency services, reported by CNN.
CNN previously reported that first responders were dispatched to Graham's Washington home after receiving a report of chest pains.
President Donald Trump said he had spoken with Graham shortly before his death, recalling that the senator mentioned feeling tired after returning from a trip to Ukraine but otherwise appeared well.
The report said a preliminary medical examiner's finding attributed Graham's death to complications from an aortic dissection linked to arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease. A final autopsy remains pending, while Sen. John Cornyn has called for the toxicology report to be released.
