Vice President J.D. Vance sparked a firestorm on social media this week after condemning Rep. Ilhan Omar’s resurfaced 2018 comments about the "radicalization of White men." Omar's remarks, in which she stated that America should be more fearful of White men due to their role in domestic terrorism, were posted by conservative influencers and quickly ignited widespread outrage. Vance responded by calling Omar’s language “sick” and “genocidal,” while GOP Sen. Mike Lee also condemned the comments as “blatant racism.”

Omar clarified that she was referencing a report by the Anti-Defamation League, which attributed a significant percentage of extremist-related murders to white supremacists. The controversy comes just days after Omar clashed with a reporter over immigration-related questions. Omar later dismissed her critics, stating, "You and all your miserable trolls can f— off."
