HBO has announced the young actors who will play the lead trio in the new TV series adaption of JK Rowling’s book series, Harry Potter. The youngsters join other actors already confirmed in the series.

Dominic McLaughlin, Arabella Stanton, and Alastair Stout have been cast as Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley.
The three young actors taking on the roles played by Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint, who starred in the hugely successful films, are relative newcomers.
Last month, HBO officially confirmed, after much speculation, that John Lithgow will portray Albus Dumbledore, the iconic headmaster of Hogwarts, originally played by Richard Harris and Michael Gambon.
Other confirmed cast members include Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape, Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall, and Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid, along with Luke Thallon as Quirinus Quirrell and Paul Whitehouse as Argus Filch.
Author J.K. Rowling will serve as executive producer on the series, which is set to span at least a decade and provide more time to explore the books’ plotlines without the time constraints of film.
The global value of the Harry Potter brand is estimated at $25 billion.
