Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev believes artificial intelligence agents will soon perform at the same level as human traders, bringing sophisticated trading capabilities to everyday investors, reported by CNBC.
The report said Robinhood introduced AI tools in May that allow agents to trade stocks and make purchases on behalf of customers.
Robinhood also announced plans to launch cryptocurrency trading in the United Kingdom as part of its European expansion. The company recently became a broker and trustee for the upcoming Trump Accounts initiative.
Despite missing first-quarter earnings expectations earlier this year, Robinhood said business remains strong and recently reduced its workforce by 10% to improve operational efficiency.
