According to the report, the retailer will host guided experiences in New Jersey before the World Cup final and in Miami after the Norway-England quarterfinal. The tours will be available to the first 20 visitors at a World Cup fan event held in partnership with Spain's LaLiga.

The report said Walmart's stores have become a social media sensation during the tournament, with viral videos from foreign tourists highlighting giant cereal bags, extensive snack aisles and other uniquely American products.

Although Walmart is not an official FIFA sponsor, marketing experts told CNN the company is benefiting from organic online attention, allowing it to connect with World Cup fans without paying sponsorship fees.
