French Assembly Moves Toward Final Vote On Assisted-Dying Bill

France's National Assembly is expected to give final approval to legislation allowing certain adults with incurable illnesses to receive medically assisted dying after years of national debate over end-of-life care.

According to the report, the bill would allow eligible patients to obtain and self-administer lethal medication under strict legal conditions.
