Israeli authorities said four people, including three soldiers, were arrested on suspicion of spying for Iran while they were minors. According to a joint statement from the Shin Bet intelligence agency, Israeli police and the Israel Defense Forces, the suspects allegedly maintained long-term contact with Iranian intelligence operatives and carried out assignments on their behalf.
The report said the missions included photographing train stations, shopping centers, surveillance cameras and facilities linked to the Israeli Air Force Technical School, where some of the suspects had studied.

Authorities also claimed some of the accused volunteered to carry out additional security-related tasks.
The arrests were made in March, while the alleged activities reportedly took place before the three soldiers joined the Israeli military. Israeli outlet Ynet reported that the suspects were around 17 years old at the time.
According to Shin Bet’s annual report, 25 people were indicted in 2025 on allegations tied to Iranian espionage, with recruitment attempts reportedly rising sharply over the past year.
