A Utah court is continuing a week-long evidentiary hearing to determine whether the murder case against Tyler Robinson will proceed to trial.
According to the report, prosecutors allege Robinson fatally shot Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk during a public event at Utah Valley University last September.
The proceedings have also focused on whether portions of the evidence should be made available to the public.
According to the report, attorney Jeffrey Neiman, representing the Kirk family, argued that withholding evidence from public view could undermine confidence in the judicial process.
Defense attorneys opposed broader disclosure, citing Robinson's right to a fair trial.
Judge Tony Graf ordered prosecutors to redact sensitive portions of the disputed evidence before any public release, with the revised material expected to be submitted as the hearing continues.
