The Great Deception

How Biden’s hidden illness, a complicit press, and a corrupted establishment betrayed the American people.

The White House split between light and shadow, symbolizing hidden truth.

While the liberal media was busy covering human interest sob stories of federal government employees laid off because of the Schumer shutdown, there was another human interest story that was making news.

Former President Biden announced through his spokesperson that the aggressive form of prostate cancer that he said he discovered in May has metastasized throughout the body to his bones and that he would be beginning painful radiation therapy along with hormonal treatment.

Biden, who is 82 years old, has had a history of health problems. He had surgery in the summer to rid himself of skin cancer. He has also had to receive medical treatment for other serious health ailments.

Hiding behind dark aviator glasses throughout his presidency, Biden continued to trick Americans into believing that they had elected a fit person for office. That was why Biden, when appearing on stage or when walking the White House lawns, would engage in a kind of sporty sprint, something that many portly 60-year-olds cannot do.

However, his practice of running for a few short steps also produced one of the most iconic images of his presidency - he repeatedly missed his footing as he climbed the steps of Air Force One.

For those of us watching him decline physically every day - as the carefully choreographed images in the media continued to press for an alternate version of the truth - proof that he was not fit for the presidency and was not in charge became evident whenever he spoke.

Yet, according to the Biden White House, he was perfectly hale and healthy to mount another presidential campaign, something that he did in January 2024. We are not hinting that his close supporters were aware of Biden's cancer.

However, his medical team should have been aware. Presidents have the best healthcare services of any person on earth. NBC News was quick to point out that people at his age are not routinely screened for prostate cancer; however, men in their 50s and 60s are.

Kelly O'Donnell of NBC News, who wrote the story, conveniently forgot to point out that in 2008, Biden, as the vice president of the United States, was only 65 years old, a prime candidate for routine prostate cancer screening. He served for eight years and underwent annual physicals at Walter Reed Medical Center.

The American Cancer Society says that when prostate cancer is first detected and is local or regional, the five-year survival rate is better than 99%. So, how could his medical team have missed his cancer? Or did they know it but did not reveal the truth when Biden suddenly became the frontrunner during the 2020 campaign following a backroom deal struck in South Carolina?

There were numerous signs that Biden was sick. Nearly always incoherent, Biden's interaction with the press became unbearable to watch. At first, his handlers dug up instances of his childhood problem with stuttering and tried to explain why Biden was struggling at a microphone. This explanation overlooked the fact that, among senators, Biden was notable not for his lack of speaking, but for speaking too much. Filibustering came naturally to Biden, and he was a master at it, as well as at committing gaffes.

When the initial response from the Biden team's protective coterie of staffers proved inadequate, they resorted to an undemocratic approach. They teamed up with compliant media to ask polite questions at press conferences, in some cases, questions that were written by the White House staff in advance so that Biden could remember the responses in front of the camera, almost like a Hollywood actor reciting his lines.

The White House group around a modern president, by design and for security, is always limited to a handful of very trusted senior advisors, chief among them being the White House chief of staff, the national security advisor, and perhaps the press secretary. Vice President Kamala Harris, who always claimed to be on Joe's side, had regularly scheduled lunches with Biden. His cabinet, one of the most active in recent memory—like former Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm, or former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg—were fixtures at the White House. How could they all fail to notice that this man was not performing at 100%?

Instead, the web of lies the liberal media continues to push, joined by the far Left, is that they all found nothing unusual—nothing at all—when Biden announced that he would run again. He decided to run, and they would abide by it.

That same denial extended into the Democratic primary process.

As Biden racked up victory after victory in the Democratic primaries last year and secured 98% of the delegates, party leaders and operatives worked to sideline the few Democrats who dared to challenge him. The sycophancy was complete.

Those same insiders wanted Biden at the top of the ticket because they knew Kamala Harris could not win on her own — and they were right. In truth, Harris was the person they wanted in the Oval Office. Her lack of curiosity and seriousness in matters of public policy would allow them to keep wielding the autopen for four more years and continue their transformation of America.

They also likely calculated that once Biden won in 2024, he could resign after his first 100 days for health reasons and hand power to Harris. In hindsight, that suspicion appears credible. NBC News recently reported that Biden’s aggressive cancer was diagnosed in May 2025.

The June 27 Atlanta debate showed how clueless President Biden was. A few days earlier, President Biden was escorted off the stage by former President Obama during a fundraiser organized by George Clooney. Panic set in with fewer than four and a half months left. The crisis led to an internal revolt, as President Biden was forced to concede he couldn't compete against Trump to win. To save the country and the party, he had to step down from his presidential campaign and endorse Harris.

It was either gross neglect or sheer incompetence that was at the heart of the Democrats' hesitation in doing the right thing all along. And the right thing would've been for donors to walk away when Biden announced he would run again last January. The right approach would've been for the Democrats to hold a contested primary in 2024, with President Biden's gracious support for the nominating process from the outside.

Such a turn of events could have brought to light future leaders of the Democratic Party. It could've spared the country from having to see an utterly incompetent candidate, Kamala Harris, at the top of the ticket. Recall that Harris never won a single delegate during her 2020 campaign from within her party. How could she win GOP and Independent votes in the general? In a truly contested primary, we are convinced that Harris would've dropped out within the first six nominating states.

That the Democrats did not do the above demonstrates their utter disregard for democratic principles and the American people. In the Leftist mindset, anything goes as long as the people that they believe ought to be in power are in power. And that "anything goes" approach hid Biden's serious health issues from the public.

First, America must never again entrust power to those who stood by in silence while the truth was buried. Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, and others in Biden’s inner circle saw what was happening. They said nothing.

Second, the press disgraced itself. Whatever they once learned in journalism school has been replaced by groupthink and ideology. They showed no curiosity, no honesty, and no shame. Their liberal orthodoxy corroded the very ethics on which a free press depends. It shocks us that, to this day, there has not been an iota of public mea culpa, only pathetic attempts to monetize their misdeeds.

Third, never forget that Big Tech joined the conspiracy, silencing anyone who dared to speak out, including us. For matters of political expediency, and thanks to Elon Musk's takeover of Twitter, Big Tech has apologized for its behavior. At least, there are no more account suspensions for speech violations that broke their code of conduct.

What they buried in darkness, history will drag into the light.
