Trump said his relationship with Kim remains strong, although the purpose and timing of a new meeting have not been clearly defined.

Trump has recently sought to ease tensions with Pyongyang, including ordering the Pentagon to scale back joint U.S.-South Korea military exercises. He has also downplayed the size of North Korea’s nuclear arsenal, while independent estimates suggest the country possesses around 60 nuclear warheads.

White House officials are reportedly considering travel to Asia in November that could facilitate renewed diplomacy. However, whether another summit can achieve progress where previous talks failed remains uncertain.
