Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem Sunday night, delivering a message of unity from President Donald Trump amid ongoing U.S.-Iran nuclear talks.
Speaking to Fox News on Monday, Noem described the meeting as “candid,” emphasizing the importance of standing together as negotiations with Tehran continue.
“President Trump specifically sent me here to have a conversation with the prime minister about how those negotiations are going and how important it is that we stay united and let this process play out,” Noem said.
Following the horrific terrorist attack in Washington DC killing two Israeli diplomats, @POTUS Trump asked me to visit Israel and meet with Prime Minister @netanyahu.

The trip follows last week’s killing of two Israeli embassy staff in Washington, which has heightened security concerns. According to Netanyahu’s office, Noem expressed strong support for Israel during the meeting.
