President Donald Trump said the proposed agreement aimed at ending the conflict with Iran remains unfinished and warned that the United States could resume military action if Tehran fails to meet expectations.
Speaking at the G7 summit, Trump described the arrangement as a memorandum of understanding rather than a final settlement. According to his remarks, the U.S. would not hesitate to return to military operations if he concludes that Iran is not complying with the terms of the agreement.
The report said the deal is expected to be formally signed in Geneva on Friday. Trump stressed that his support for the agreement depends on Iran's conduct going forward.
The comments highlight continued uncertainty surrounding the accord, even as diplomatic efforts move ahead.
Leaders of the G7 nations are meeting this week alongside representatives from the European Union and Ukraine, with developments in the Middle East remaining a key focus of discussions.
