Vice-President J.D. Vance criticized the U.S. media Wednesday, accusing journalists of distorting intelligence reports on President Donald Trump’s recent strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites.
In a post on X, Vance said the press is relying on “low confidence” and “incomplete” intelligence to downplay what he called a “wildly successful military operation.”
This is such a revealing clip. The American media is full of the least curious, least insightful people in our country.

To recap, an out of context, "low confidence" and incomplete intelligence report was selectively leaked to the media. The media reported on the findings…
Vance said the bombing of three Iranian nuclear facilities, including the heavily fortified Fordo site, had “obliterated” Iran’s ability to assemble a nuclear weapon.
“No one disputes they hit their targets,” Vance wrote. “The entire debate is about how much rebuilding Iran would have to do — not whether they can currently build a nuke.”

He also questioned the motives behind intelligence leaks and criticized the press for what he called “laundering talking points” from junior officials.
“President Trump has obliterated the Iranian nuclear program,” he wrote. “The American media seems destined to obliterate their own credibility.”
