Iran said Thursday it is reviewing the Trump administration’s latest proposal aimed at ending the ongoing conflict, as President Donald Trump signaled he was willing to wait “a few days” for Tehran’s response.
According to Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei, Tehran has received Washington’s latest views and is evaluating them through ongoing diplomatic channels. The report said Pakistan continues playing a major mediation role, with Army Chief Asim Munir expected in Tehran for further discussions.

Despite weeks of negotiations, tensions remain high as Iran continues restricting traffic through the Strait of Hormuz while the United States maintains pressure on Iranian ports. The disruption has sharply impacted global energy markets, with oil prices climbing roughly 45% since the conflict began in February.
Trump warned Wednesday that military action could resume quickly if the United States does not receive the “right answers” from Iran. Meanwhile, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard threatened broader regional escalation if American or Israeli strikes restart.
