According to the report, Trump expressed confidence in the Iraqi leader and highlighted energy partnerships as a key priority for strengthening bilateral relations.
Trump also emphasized maintaining a U.S. military presence in Iraq primarily for protection.
According to the report, analysts cautioned that Prime Minister al-Zaidi faces significant political challenges, including navigating Iraq's complex power-sharing system, addressing the influence of armed militias, and tackling corruption while pursuing closer cooperation with the United States.
